This product came packed in very heavy duty thick brown paper.. I bought it as part of my 'Prepping" for hard times stash and opened the huge bag to put into glass jars.. then it hit me.. I should have just taken the bag and put it in a food grade five gallon bucket... I cooked my first pot a couple of days ago and they were fantastic... don't make the mistake I make and open them unless you are getting them to use right away! They are worth every penny.. very good! I underestimated how much they swell after you soak them! Made a very huge pot of beans!!
